📖History of Web3Eco [edit]
Web3Eco project was founded in 2022, when we planted a 620-hectare Paulownia plantation in Fergana, Uzbekistan. Paulownia is the fastest-growing tree in the world.
Our mission is to give everyone the opportunity to invest in the regeneration of our planet using blockchain technology
We chose smart contracts on blockchain technology as a way to invest in trees. This gives investors the legal right to receive a return on their investment throughout the growth cycle.
By growing trees in an environmentally responsible way and following the UN's Sustainable Development Goals, Web3Eco will provide employment for the local population of Uzbekistan and meet the growing demand for bioenergy and timber. Investors in the project have the right to receive annual dividends. Security tokens allow investors to receive a return on investment from sustainable and environmentally friendly investments. NFTs from Web3Eco will provide access to investments and plant the seeds for a greener and more sustainable future.
In 2022, a plant nursery with an area of 35 hectares was created, on which about 150,000 Paulownia seedlings of the Shan Tong variety were planted (the diagram is below). In 2023, the plantation is already expanded to 100 hectares and by the end of 2023 it is planned to expand the current plantation to 210 hectares and to transplant 126,000 seedlings, using a standard planting pattern of 4x4 (600-625 trees per hectare). There are different planting patterns, such as 4x2, 4x4, 4x5, 5x5, etc., but for the quality growth of seedlings and the possibility of reinvestment, we chose the pattern 4x4.
This central plot is a nursery with an area of 35 hectares, which was created in 2022. The plot on the left is more than 65 hectares. Also, two plots of 15-17,5 hectares each will be created to the left below the nursery. And the largest plot of more than 75 hectares, which is on the right on the map, will also be built. Thus, according to the company plan, the total area of the plantation will exceed 210 hectares in winter 2023-2024.
Our experts chose the 4x4 planting scheme for quality growth. What is a 4x4 planting scheme, and why is it the best? As you can see in diagram 2, this means that the distance between rows of trees will be 4 meters, and the distance between trees in the same row will also be 4 meters.
There are different ways to plant trees. Seedlings are planted in straight rows, taking into account their future growth and the maximum crown size. This scheme allows us to use the land efficiently and plant more trees.
Over the past decade, a combination of several different trends, the emergence and development of blockchain technologies, has made it possible to implement a project like Web3Eco. The location in Uzbekistan is ideal due to the growing population and increasing industrialization, which has led to an increase in demand for timber products. This demand is exacerbated by the goals of the State Forestry Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan related to mass cultivation and tree planting.
At the same time, in a completely different area, the development of crypto-assets has made it possible to tokenize various goods, which has made it possible to trade them among accredited investors. The use of blockchain technology provides transparency and accountability for stakeholders. Investors can verify the issuance of tokens, their turnover, as well as the timely and proportional distribution of profits. In addition, digital assets can be traded on liquid secondary markets (Marketplace).
Web3Eco occupies a strategically advantageous position and starts at the right time and in the right place, taking into account technological progress, geographical factors and environmental considerations. The company can set new standards for environmental and ethical responsibility. Thus, Web3Eco demonstrates that it is possible to balance environmental and financial responsibility, benefit the local population and counter climate change, while ensuring profitability for NFT token holders.
